General Terms and Conditions for Payment of Agency Fees in Bitcoin
- Acceptance of Bitcoin:
- Patrick Immobilier Sàrl accepts payment of agency fees in Bitcoin (BTC) as an alternative to payment in traditional currencies (CHF). Transactions are processed via the Swissquote platform.
- Conversion of Amounts:
- The amount of agency fees in Bitcoin will be determined based on the official exchange rate provided by Swissquote at the time the invoice is issued.
- Any conversion fees charged by Swissquote are the responsibility of the seller.
- Payment Terms:
- Payment in Bitcoin must be made within 48 hours of invoice issuance.
- The Bitcoin wallet address provided by Swissquote will be used for the transfer. Any transfer errors are the seller's responsibility.
- Confirmation and Compliance:
- Each transaction will be validated by Swissquote to ensure compliance with Swiss regulations, particularly those related to anti-money laundering.
- Payment will be considered valid after confirmation on the blockchain (minimum of 6 confirmations) and validation by Swissquote.
- Volatility Risks:
- Patrick Immobilier Sàrl is not responsible for fluctuations in the value of Bitcoin between the time the invoice is issued and the completion of the transaction.
- Additional Fees:
- Any transaction or network fees (mining fees) are the responsibility of the seller.
- Exclusions and Limitations:
- Patrick Immobilier Sàrl reserves the right to refuse payment in Bitcoin in the following cases:
- If the transaction is not completed within the specified time frame.
- If the amount received is incorrect.
- If Swissquote detects non-compliance or a suspicious source of funds.
- Right to Amend:
- Patrick Immobilier Sàrl reserves the right to modify or discontinue the acceptance of Bitcoin payments at any time, except for transactions already in progress.
- Tax Obligations:
- The seller is solely responsible for declaring and managing their tax obligations related to the use of Bitcoin, in accordance with Swiss legislation.
- Responsibilities:
- The seller is fully responsible for executing the Bitcoin transaction correctly, following the instructions provided by Patrick Immobilier Sàrl and Swissquote.
- Legal Notice:
- These general terms and conditions are governed by Swiss law. In case of disputes, the competent court will be the one in the canton where Patrick Immobilier Sàrl is domiciled.
